Jordan's 'Craft' series continues to add contemporary details to their iconic retro silhouettes. Here we see the low-cut version of the Air Jordan 1 treated to a unique patchwork re-make with some thoughtful detail work.
At a glance the shoes are pretty simple, but a closer look reveals more than you might even realise. Keen-eyed observers might spot the two materials used it matching tones—suede and nubuck. The different textures reflect light differently, adding slight tonal changes across the shoe. An even-more subtle detail is the asymmetrical use of materials across the pair—what is suede on the left shoe is nubuck on the right, and so-on. The monotone palette is accented by Varsity Red stitching which highlights the patchwork construction of panels across the upper.
