The Winter Lite is designed to keep you warm on multiday journeys in conditions both alpine and extreme. The bags are available in three temperature ratings, -12, -16 and -20°C (ISO 23537.1 limit of comfort), and two sizes: regular and large. Please contact us if you'd like to order in the -16 or -20. The shell is made from Pertex Quantum Pro (formerly known as Endurance), a fabric that is water- and wind-resistant and highly breathable, giving amazing weather protection and moisture management. The generous mummy shape is both comfortable and thermally efficient, while the vertical baffle system consists of strategically placed vertical-horizontal-vertical baffles, ensuring maximum warmth for weight. Winter Lite bags are finished with full-length zips so you can still get your feet out, with #5 YKK locking zips with anti-snag sliders used.
FEATURES
- Generous mummy shape maximises thermally efficiency without restricting movement or comfort
- Box-wall baffles give maximum thermal efficiency
- Vertical-horizontal-vertical baffling blocks the migration of down, keeping it trapped where you need it most
- Differentially cut baffles promote full and complete lofting of down
- Elasticated horizontal baffles reduce down migration and ensure warmth stays trapped against the body, minimising unintended venting
- Large foot-box reduces down compression while giving enough height for your feet and space to wriggle your toes
- The contoured hood encloses your head, cinching tight while leaving enough space for your nose and mouth
- The elasticised 3D neck muff effectively traps warmth around the neck and shoulders
- Full-length side zip from hood to ankle: a YKK #5 with locking slider and innovative, anti-snag cover
- Selecting a zip side is easy: when lying in a sleeping bag, a left-hand zip (LH) is on your left side
- Joined at the zip: full-length zips allow models with compatible left and right zips to be zipped together
- Hydrophobic Down repels water, helping down stay lofty in all conditions
- Your choice of down: ethically-sourced Hydrophobic Down in either 700-750 loft, or lighter (but just as warm) 800-850 loft
- Water-resistant thread is used to make a durable, well-sealed sleeping bag
- Hang loops on the foot-box allow you to hang, dry and store your sleeping bag easily

WOMEN’S AND MEN’S RATINGS
ISO 23537-1: INDEPENDENTLY TESTED TEMPERATURE RATINGS
All ONE PLANET sleeping bags are temperature rated in accordance with ISO 23537-1. This is the only globally recognised standard for the temperature testing of sleeping bags, and gives ratings for both women and men. Sleeping bags tested to the International Organisation for Standardisation 23537-1 (Requirements for sleeping bags) allow users to make informed, educated and accurate decisions.
The ISO 23537-1 testing methods allows objective comparisons of the warmth of different shapes (mummy, tapered rectangular and rectangular), sizes (small, regular and large) and how this translates into warmth for both women and men. When reading our temperature rating information, the ’Comfort’ rating gives an accurate figure for the lower limit of comfort for a standard woman, while the ‘Limit’ is an accurate gauge of the lowest limit of comfort for a standard man.
Not all manufacturers test to this standard, nor give information about how they arrive at their temperature ratings. As a result, care should be taken when comparing claims of warmth.
