Andrew Logan jewellery includes brooches, all of which are handcrafted and unique as this visionary British artist never makes more than one brooch of the same design. This red heart brooch is definitely a statement piece and, as with all Andrew Logan jewellery, it bears his signature for authenticity.  Andrew Logan created this brooch, named 'Shell Speak', in 2019 and he hopes this one-off, designer piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.

The large red heart is created using two large, red/deep coral coloured cockle shells at the top and five pieces of red glass and mirror at the bottom, each with a different pattern or texture.  There are also seven red glass rods along the edges, plus two red facetted crystals, two small red squares of glass and two red beads embedded in the vibrant red resin at the heart of the brooch.  The resin has been further embellished with dark red and neon red glitter.

Shell Speak is a large, flamboyant piece of costume jewellery.  It is designed as a brooch but could also be threaded onto a chain, or cord, to make a statement necklace, or used as a decorative wall piece.  The brooch has a width of approximately 10.5 cm at the top of the heart and a length of approximately 14.5 cm.  It weighs 80 g and can be affixed to your chosen garment by a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the rear of this spectacular brooch.
